Indexed on your machine. Documents you upload are processed and searched locally. When a reply is drafted, only the excerpts relevant to that specific post go to your own AI provider account, under your own API terms.
Your keys stay secure. API keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager, encrypted by Windows itself. They authenticate directly with X and your AI provider, and Stargazer AI never receives them.
Licensed offline. The only time Stargazer contacts the Stargazer AI servers is when you check for updates, and even then it sends nothing but a version number.
